The Paris Widow

The Paris Widow is an intriguing mystery by Kimberly Belle that follows a woman named Stella who accompanies her husband Adam on a business trip to Paris. Taking in the sites and the delicious food, Stella and Adam are having a wonderful time. It is not until Adam forgets his sunglasses at the cafe they were at that all hell breaks loose. There is an explosion and Stella cannot find Adam. They had agreed to meet back at the hotel but he never made it. What ensues is Stella finding out who her husband truly is and meeting the dangerous people in his life.

This book is well written and a real pageturner. I felt as if someone was watching Stella every moment after the explosion and it was both exciting and frightening. The chapters are mainly told from Stella’s point of view, however, a few chapters highlight what Adam was doing in the weeks before the explosion. The book is suspenseful and has characters that readers will not know if they can trust or not. This is a truly fantastic adventure.
