The Executioners Three
It was an accident, but it might have been the best accident Freddy could hope for. Or the worst. All she did was what she thought was right and call the cops when she heard screaming in the woods, turns out it was a bunch of kids partying. Or was it? Weird things start happening around town after that night; bells ringing where there isn’t one, bodies found and evidence missing. Freddy does what she does best; investigate.
Executioners Three is a horror, mystery novel with a hint of supernatural all wrapped together. it kept me guessing till the end on if there was actually anything supernatural going on or just made to look like it is. I loved Freddy, she’s a well written character with flaws and ambitions. The other characters were also good, each unique from each other and easy to remember who’s who, there were a couple that felt unnecessary to the story though. The mystery itself was pretty good, there were a couple things that didn’t line up right, but if you’re paying attention you can figure out what’s going on and solve the mystery. There is cussing throughout, blood and gore.
