The Autumn Springs Retirement Home Massacre

Philip Fricassi is back after his tremendously successful Boys in the Valley with The Autumn Springs Retirement Home Massacre, which is basically what it says on the tin, except you’re going to fall in love with the characters and be swept away by the story and be left in tears caring for these people and what is befalling them.

Things are not going well at the Autumn Springs Retirement Home. People are just dying of old age like usual, they’re getting murdered. And as each new body turns up, the residents are getting more and more nervous. It’s up to the wonderful Rose Dubois, who knows just about everyone, to team up with her best friend and gentleman companion, Miller, to find out just who is behind the horrible deaths. They need to interview the residents, look for clues, and do what they can before they end up being the next victims.

Fricassi has created a wonderful original story in a retirement home with a host of elderly characters that often don’t get to be heroes in books, along with a gripping mystery that will keep the reader hooked to the end.
