Robbery
The Robbery is a book about three thieves who want to rob a bank. They decide to dig an underground path to the bank to steal the treasure. To learn how to dig, they enlist a teacher who is a mole. Who would be more perfect to teach them how to dig!? All three thieves dig but they end up in an orchestral hall and one of the thieves starts playing a violin. They decide to continue and end up at a wrestling match. It’s a good thing all of the thieves know karate! The thieves keep digging but can’t seem to find their way into the bank vault. They even end up on the Titanic with Kate and Leo on the deck!
This book was cute and funny. My favorite part of it was the illustrations which were done in marker. I loved the different colors used and the details including the moles underground. The book has a great lesson at the end which parents will appreciate since I’m sure no one wants their child to grow up to be a bank robber. I would recommend this book for mid to late elementary school students.
